Oval

The one-mile paved oval of The Milwaukee Mile plays host to world class auto racing, including NASCAR and IndyCar Series. Many NASCAR and IndyCar Series teams utilize The Mile throughout the season for team test sessions for a variety of reasons, including testing new drivers, testing specific chassis and brake components, and preparing for similarly-shaped tracks on the Sprint Series schedule.

The oval track is also rented by national and regional stock car and open wheel teams, including the Mid-American Series who has held open test days for it’s competitors to familiarize themselves to what is the biggest track the series competes on. Various ARCA, ASA and USAC Silver Crown teams have also been known to visit The Mile in preparation for their events.

The historic setting has also served as a unique backdrop for a range of team photos and commercial shoots.
